University of Hyderabad researchers develops nanocapsules for Cancer treatment.
In a major breakthrough, a team of researchers from the University of Hyderabad claimed to have developed a nova nanocapsule that could help in the treatment of cancer and other infectious diseases.
The research was head by Dr.Pradip Paik, an associate professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences Technology, University of Hyderabad. His research group has designed and developed novel.and biocompatible polymer based on nano drug carriers with high potential impact on immune therapy and cancer treatment.
The results potentially suggested that NAPA-HPN both can serve as the carrier of the drugs as well as the adjuvant for the immune system.
Further, these Nanocapsules can be used more effectively for the management of infectious diseases and tumors.
