Harbhajan Singh says he is hurt that the selectors don’t consider him for International cricket because of his age.

Harbhajan Singh or very popularly known as Bhajji, the ace spinner of our Indian cricket team was last seen playing for the team in 2016 T20I game in the Asia cup. Though he played for the team almost 4 years ago, he has been playing cricket in the Indian Premiere League every year. In IPL Bhajji is in the top 3 highest wicket takers with over 150 wickets to his name.

In a recent interview, Harbhajan Singh was seen candid on how he wishes to play for the team in the T20 format. The ace spinner who is soon going to turn 40 says if he can play well in IPL, he can do much better in he International cricket tournaments like T20. He justifies his statement by saying, IPL which is a very difficult tournament specifically for bowlers because the grounds are smaller and also in IPL we see all the top world players come together which becomes a lot more difficult. So he says if he can bowl in IPL and be a record holder, he can certainly do much better in the International cricket.

The spinner also added how hurt he is that he was never looked at once for the team even though he was breaking records in the IPL. He says the team and selectors don’t consider him barring his age that he is too old.

He also says that even though the team doesn’t consider him, he still fells ready to come back and play for the country. Harbhajan Singh played 10 seasons of IPL with Mumbai and the other 2 with Chennai for his base price of INR 2 crore.

We definitely hope to see Bhajji on the ground playing for the country.
