- Ramakrishna beach

It is the most popular beach in Visakhapatnam attracting hordes of visitors every day. RK beach gets its name from the Ramakrishna Mission ashram which is situated near the beach. The 14th century Sapta Rusheswara Temple which is surrounded by seven hills is located here. The water here is much cleaner compared to that of RK beach and is a very tranquil place. The presence of those lush green hills of the Eastern Ghats in the backdrop makes it look amazing. This beach is perfect for foodies and water sports lovers.
- Yarada beach
Yarada beach is situated on the west coast of Bay of Bengal in Yarada, a village at a distance of about 15 kilometres from Visakhapatnam. Other places nearby Yarada are Gangavaram beach, Gangavaram Port and Dolphin’s Nose. For many people, this beach is a picnic spot because of its serenity and beautiful views. Bheemili beach is located at the origin of the Gosthani River, at a distance of 24 kilometres from Visakhapatnam. This beach derives its name from Bheema, one of the five Pandava princes from the epic of Mahabharata This is very unique because it reflects the British and Dutch settlements of the 17th century. It is operated by the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA). A 16th century Dutch Cemetery stands as a testament of the Old Dutch times. - Thotlakonda beach
This beach is located at a distance of about 16 kilometres from Visakhapatnam. The eagle-shaped hilltop here is very popular. It derives its name from the presence of a number of rock-cut cisterns hewn into the bedrock of the hillock. One can have a peaceful time by exploring this distinctive geological site.
